Rita Dominic was born in Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Nigeria, into the esteemed Royal Nwaturuocha Family of Aboh. She is the youngest of four children. Her parents, who have since passed away, were professionals in the health sector, with her father being a medical doctor and her mother a nursing officer. Rita attended the prestigious Federal Government College in Ikot Ekpene, Akwa Ibom State, for her secondary education. Following her graduation, she pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, graduating in 1999.
